Thomas A. Duckenfield III, Esq.

An experienced C-suite executive, attorney, and proud U.S. Army veteran, Tom has previously served in senior leadership roles across the public and private sectors. 

His private sector management experience spans government contracts, healthcare staffing, renewable energy, business intelligence, and international trade. 

Prior to entering private law practice, Tom served as a U.S. Army Infantry Captain, as well as Assistant to the General Counsel in the office of the Secretary of the Army. His responsibilities included providing legal advice at the Secretary level on IT procurement, utilization of small- and minority-owned businesses, outsourcing, and intellectual property. His awards include a Meritorious Service Medal and a National Defense Service Ribbon.

Ashley leads TDB bid response preparation, project  management, contract compliance, and financial operations. She takes pride in creating a client-focused culture at TDB and ensuring fiscally responsible operations on all of our contracts.

The proud daughter of a retired US Army Veteran, Kelly provides high-level, professional human resources (HR) expertise, services and support for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and managing all TDB job applicants, employees, and hundreds of personnel for temporary staffing projects.

ADVISORY BOARD
Terry D. Brian
Founding CEO

Co-Founder Terry D. Bryan is the former CEO, and he continues to serve the company during retirement as a member of the TDB Advisory Board. For over 30 years Terry was a leader in the telecommunications industry.  Prior to founding TDB, he served as a key officer at three major telecom companies, including Kansas-based Sprint.

Prior to launching his career, Terry served as a United States Marine in Vietnam, where he was wounded in action. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Presidential Unit Citation.

Laird P. Simons
Founding President, CFO

Co-founder Laird P. Simons, President and CFO prior to retirement, drew on a long career of transforming start-up, turnaround and high-growth organizations into successful businesses. Prior to co-founding TDB, he was a Senior Executive at Sprint where he managed a billion-dollar business unit serving some of North America’s largest telecommunications networks in the industry.
